Why choose salt water?

A saltwater chlorinator is basically a chlorine generator, which consists of
two parts: a low voltage power supply and an electrolytic cell. Through the process of electrolysis the units convert salt to sodium hypochloride
(liquid chlorine). : the electrolytic cell is plumbed into the filter return line and the power pack mounted on a wall or post in close proximity to the cell. Common salt is added to the pool water, 6kg for every 1000 liters – (5,000-6,000ppm) or 6x50 kg bags for a 50,000 liter pool.

To transfer to salt water from chlorine is easy, the return pipe is cut and
the cell is fitted to the pipe, the control panel is fitted to the wall and
salt is added to the pool and the transfer is complete. To transfer a pool
of 50,000 liters the cost would be 34,620 baht.
